Day Hike Map Kit, 3rd Edition Ready for Spring 2012

Our Map Kit has been a grand success and many improvements have been made in this new edition. More colour and many new trails are offered.

It will still come in its very useful clear vinyl wallet for easy handling and reading while being protected from the weather. There are many new trails and side trails, as well as all up-to-date reroutes described for your enjoyment.

There are 5 individual colour maps to tell you:

• how to get there...
• where to park...
• how to find each trail Access...
• what to see along the trail...
• how long the hike will take...
• how much effort is needed...
• and if a trail offers a loop or linear hike.

In addition, a separate User’s Guide offers hints and tips for better, safer hiking, how to follow the “blazes” along a trail and emergency numbers common to our area.

Finally, your new kit will include an expanded, unique, full colour “Wildflowers of the Beaver Valley” insert folder produced by the Club’s botanist/photographer Mike Osborn, Meaford.

Our kit is an innovative, welcomed hostess gift and its maps are better than a conventional road map when trying to find your way around our odd-angled local roads.
